2022 Communications Internship

Are you a college student with communications skills and an interest in being civically engaged in our community? Would you like to see first-hand what it takes to put on elections in Florida? Join the Hillsborough County Supervisor of Elections communications team and find out!

We plan to hire a student from Hillsborough Community College, University of South Florida, and University of Tampa to work as communications interns during the summer and fall semesters. These three interns will work eight hours a week supporting our voter outreach and education efforts, and work as poll workers in the Primary and General Elections. At the end of the internship, they will complete a capstone project in which they develop a proposed communications plan for implementation on their college campuses in future election years.
