Vote By Mail Rate of Return

Three Ways To Vote

Deadline to register to vote: March 27 (Only registered voters living in the City of Tampa are eligible to vote in this election.)

1. Vote By Mail

First mailing to overseas and military voters: March 14
First mailing to domestic voters: March 23 

Deadline to request that a Vote By Mail ballot be mailed to you: April 15


Voted ballots must be in the Hillsborough County Supervisor of Elections Office no later than 7 p.m. on April 25.

Vote By Mail ballots are only available by request, and requests expire after every General Election. To receive a Vote By Mail ballot for this election, submit your request online or call (813) 612-4180 no later than April 15. Voted ballots can be mailed back (no postage needed) or dropped off at a Secure Ballot Intake Station in one of our offices or at Early Voting sites during Early Voting hours. 2. Early Voting

April 17 - 23, 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.

Vote in any of our seven Early Voting locations and we will print your ballot for you – you can even vote on the weekend. You’ll also find Secure Ballot Intake Stations at these sites during Early Voting hours, where you can drop off your voted Vote By Mail ballot.

3. Election Day 

April 25, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

On Election Day, you must vote in the polling place assigned to your precinct. Look your polling place up using our precinct finder.
