2023 City of Tampa Municipal Election

Deadline to register: February 6 (Only registered voters living in the City of Tampa are eligible to vote in this election.)

Early Voting: February 27 - March 5, 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.

Election Day: March 7, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

2023 City of Plant City Municipal Election

Deadline to register: March 6 (Only registered voters living in the City of Plant City are eligible to vote in this election.)

Early Voting: TBD

Election Day: April 4, 7 a.m. - 7 p.m.

2023 City of Tampa Municipal Runoff Election (if required)

Deadline to register: March 27 (Only registered voters living in the City of Tampa are eligible to vote in this election.)

Early Voting: April 17 - April 23, 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.

Election Day: April 25, 7 a.m. - 7 p.m.

2023 City of Plant City Municipal Runoff Election (if required)

Deadline to register: April 24 (Only registered voters living in the City of Plant City are eligible to vote in this election.)

Early Voting: TBD

Election Day: May 23, 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. 

2024 Presidential Preference Primary Election

Deadline to register: February 20

Early Voting: March 4 - March 17, 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.

Election Day: March 19, 7 a.m. - 7 p.m.

2024 City of Plant City Municipal Election

Deadline to register: March 4 (Only registered voters living in the City of Plant City are eligible to vote in this election.)

Deadline to register: July 22

Early Voting: August 5 - 18, 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.

Election Day: August 20, 7 a.m. - 7 p.m.

2024 General Election

Deadline to register: October 7

Early Voting: October 21 - November 3, 7 a.m. - 7 p.m.

Election Day: November 5, 7 a.m. - 7 p.m.

 

Please note:

  • Dates and times subject to change. 
  • Florida is a "closed primary" state. That means only voters registered with a political party may vote in that party's Primary Election. You can change your party affiliation by submitting an updated Voter Registration Application at any time, but the change must be made 29 days before a Primary Election in order to be valid for that election. All registered voters, regardless of party affiliation, may vote on issues and nonpartisan races during a Primary Election. Your party does not affect your ballot for any election other than a Primary Election.
