POSITIONS

Administrative Assistant

Prepare invoices for processing, track postage, work via email and phone with temporary agencies and in-house supervisors, maintain records and spreadsheets, assist with Vote by Mail opening process

Communications Associate – Now Hiring

Respond by phone, email and in person to requests and inquiries from candidates, political committees, political parties and others; provide administrative support, including maintaining records; answer questions and share voting/elections information with the public, including voter registration instructions at offsite outreach events (must have reliable transportation)

Courier

Drive vans, cars, or other motor vehicles and manually load or unload materials into vehicle; deliver and retrieve items; install protective devices, such as bracing, padding or strapping, to prevent shifting or damage to items being transported

Help Desk/IT Support Specialist 

Provide technical assistance to office locations within Hillsborough County; monitor, track and respond to helpdesk tickets; setup and deploy new computer systems; perform routine maintenance to desktops, laptops and tablets; complete user setups; assist with video, badge-access security, and phone system

E-Poll Book Technician

Prepare e-poll books, iPads and MiFis for Early Voting and Election Day; troubleshoot and resolve routine problems with software and equipment; apply systems analysis techniques and procedures, including consulting with users, to determine hardware, software or system function specifications

Early Voting Team Lead

Lead Early Voting equipment setup and testing; provide technical support to poll workers during Early Voting, perform daily review of election equipment at Early voting site; drive to remote locations to deliver, pickup, install and/or troubleshoot equipment; communicate daily with main office on status of equipment; apply systems analysis techniques and procedures, including consulting with users, to determine hardware, software or system function specifications

Early Voting Technician

Work with team lead to set up equipment; provide technical support to poll workers during Early Voting; perform daily review of election equipment at Early Voting site; drive to remote locations to deliver, pickup, install and/or troubleshoot equipment; communicate daily with main office on status of equipment; apply systems analysis techniques and procedures, including consulting with users, to determine hardware, software or system function specifications

Outreach Associate

Work at off-site outreach events on an as-needed basis before, during or after business hours, including weekends; provide voter registration instructions and information about voting and elections by phone, email and in-person; assist with scheduling

Poll Worker Specialist – Now Hiring

Act as a liaison between Poll Workers and the Poll Worker Services and Training Department; process poll worker applications and payroll information; handle large volumes of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner; answer questions and provide real-time support using webchat applications and communication scripts

VBM Opener

Assist with preparing, receiving, and processing Vote By Mail ballots.

VBM Operator

Verify Vote By Mail signatures (after completing signature verification training); assist with preparing, receiving, processing and organizing Vote By Mail ballots

Voter Services Specialist/Call Center Associates – Now Hiring

Process voter record changes and updates; type efficiently and enter data accurately; respond to voter inquiries via phone, email, and face-to-face

Warehouse Associate

Pack and prepare election supplies and equipment; assist with inventory; keep a clean and organized working environment; work independently or with teams

Warehouse Early Vote

Prepare election supplies; assist with management of Early Voting storage area; work independently or with teams

Warehouse Housekeeping

Clean and dust in common areas, including restrooms; clean windows; vacuum and mop floors;empty trash
