In a county of our size, running an election is no small task. We hire over 100 temporary employees to work with our permanent staff during elections cycles – for days, weeks and even months at a time. If you would like to support our elections as a temporary employee, please read through this section carefully.

REQUIREMENTS

  1.  Must complete all required onboarding through a staffing agency, including but not limited to background and drug screening
  2.  Must remain nonpartisan while representing the office of the Supervisor of Elections
  3.  Must treat everyone with dignity and respect at all times
  4.  Must be able to speak, read and write English effectively
  5.  Must be able to work independently and with others
  6.  Must be able to multitask between various job duties
  7.  Must be able to lift 15 to 30 pounds
  8.  May need to work extended hours, including weekends and overtime, when necessary
  9.  May need to possess a valid and current FL Driver License with no more than seven points and complete an online defensive driving course.
